Through p4c.com, we aim to provide an indispensible web subscription service for teachers who want pupils to think for themselves though philosophical dialogue with others. It will be launched when 1,000 people agree to subscribe. In the meantime the site is being constructed with new additions every day.

Our first 1,000 subscribers will receive a 20% discount at launch time and will have the option of being honoured on a webpage for the life of the service to mark their contribution to making it possible.

Our aims are to:

• raise awareness about the origins and ongoing development of Philosophy for Children (P4C)
• promote philosophical inquiry for its own sake, and as well as for its capacity to build the attitudes and skills required by modern curricula, enriching concept formation in all subjects
• provide and support a professional forum for learning and collaboration in this field
• provide teaching resources and curriculum models and ‘pathways’ for teachers of all age groups
• contribute a 10% share of profits to charities and projects that themselves promote philosophical inquiry
